Federation of Finnish Commerce
The Federation of Finnish Commerce and Trade and the Commercial Employers’ Association have established a new association, the Federation of Finnish Commerce, for protecting the interests of commerce. The operations of the new association commenced at the beginning of 2005. The objective is to enhance the representation of trade and employers of commerce, as well as to ensure the integrated influence of the sector of commerce in the decision-making process of all society.
The sphere of the Federation of Finnish Commerce contains approximately 10,000 commercial enterprises, employing some 200,000 wage earners. The new association will represent extensively the interests of the entire sector of wholesale and retail trade. It will have members from both companies and associations. The objective of the Federation of Finnish Commerce is to improve the operating conditions of commerce.
